The increment was done and contained in the Nimi briggs commitee report where it recommended the 180% increase in the salaries of the university lecturers!
The increment according to the committee report was to enable the salaries of lecturers to be in line with what is earned by university lecturers around the world!

The other issues can be resolved by setting up another committee by the FG to investigate what you are alleging!

The question is did the FG renege in their negotiation and agreement with ASUU through the committee that they set up?
Did FG throw out the 2 reports by committees that they themselves setup to resolve the issue with the union?
Once we are done with resolving the questions at hand,we can talk about how to investigate the excesses of the university lecturers in nigeria!
