With your ICAN Exam getting closer, there is a high tendency that some students might want to push the exams to the next diet again.

Well, I am not here to tell you of what is making you procrastinate, because we all have our different versions of it. But, how can you stop procrastinating severely especially regarding your ICAN Exams?

I won’t lie to you. If you really want to stop this habit (and it’s something many students are also trying to do, so you’re definitely not alone in this), you’ll have to take some prompt and immediate actions.

It will require you to change some things in your life and habits. It will be necessary to get out of your comfort zone.

And more than anything else, it will require you to change the way you talk to yourself.

Those certain words and phrases you use all the time — you’ll need to say goodbye to them.

Those excuses that you come up with on a daily basis — you’ll have to let them go.

Those external circumstances, obstacles that show up out of nowhere, people who are preventing you from achieving success — you’ll have to turn the other way.

It will all have to be different.

Which, of course, will cause you discomfort at first. But that’s where you’ll need to stick with the plan and keep moving ahead.

To some extent, beating procrastination means you don’t get to quit — and you don’t allow yourself to stay in the same vicious cycle from diet to diet.

You make one tiny change today. And another one tomorrow. And one more after that.

You keep going.
