Thanks for opening this thread. For those asking questions, please read, understand and respect the purpose of the thread. It is for discussing and answering questions on day to day living in Germany. Not how to get to Germany or how to get visa and stuffs like that. There are 10s of threads for that already, go there, read and ask your questions.

Reading and understanding is very much needed to get to and survive in Germany.

The lIngua Franca is Deutsch. To be able to live day to day you need a certain level of Deutsch. Some people speak English but it's Rare.

By applying for studies as a student. The younger you are, the better. The older you are, the worser. And if you get white beard, forget about it.

Schooling is free though.

Hello @OP. Thanks very much for opening this thread.

I'm a student currently frustrated by the system. I'll like to know how easy or stressful studying for BSc there.

I am not an admission officer, you will have to email the school in question and ask them. They typically respond.

Don't even think of coming with one visa and doing something else. It will affect you in the long run quote author=yungchop post=117279660]

How's the social life like? Are there places where Africans are more congregated?

Many immigrants speak against associating with their fellow Nigerians abroad, is it the same with you?

And the language, how long did it take you to learn it? Did you start before traveling or after?

Lastly, do you have any cultural shocks you want to relate with us?

Hope you don't mind my questions
