"The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it." (Mark 11:12-14)"

According to theory of incarnation and hypostatic union, Jesus was both human and God at the same time during his mission on the surface of the Earth. Therefore, if the fact that Jesus was hungry (as stated in the book of Mark above) reflected his human nature, then similarly his divine nature should be reflected by the fact that Jesus knows everything. However, this is not the case!

It is very clear from the passage above that Jesus didn't know that the fig tree had no fruits until he reached the tree. Yet one of the indisputable attributes of God is having a perfect knowledge about all things.

In the light of this very evidence, how can any Christian reasonably believe that Jesus is God ? Or are we to assume that his divine nature was absent from him during the time he saw the fig tree at a distance ?

Some Christians argue that Jesus did not know that fig tree had no fruits because he deliberately chose to limit his knowledge about the fig tree (just like someone who has the ability to walk deliberately choose to be crippled)

Does this make any sense to you ?

For what reason would God deliberately choose to limit His unlimited knowledge about some certain things ?

How could all-knowing God deliberately choose to be ignorant of what He has already known beforehand ?

Through what way or in what manner can such a level of ignorance be attained by omniscient God ?

However, such a glaring absurdity must be invented and accepted by the Christians in order to save their highly-valued belief in divinity of Jesus Christ from being jeopardized!
