There were questions asked of Liverpool before the second game against Rangers in the UEFA Champions League but those doubters will no doubt be silent after the incredible display put on by Jurgen Klopp's men.

A sublime second-half saw them rattle six past Allan McGregor and to be frank - it could have been more. Darwin Nunez, Roberto Firmino, and Mohammed Salah had their names on the scoreboard as the Reds thrashed Rangers seven goals to one.

For all the promise shown in the first-half, Rangers did not turn up in the second and real questions will be asked by the leaders in that Ibrox dressing room.

Rangers' Champions League hopes are over, while for Liverpool this result may be the confidence boost they need before the highly anticipated clash against Manchester City on Sunday.
