Ndi Igbo Are The Enemies And Problems They Have. by ManofgodJnr3(m): 9:13pm On Nov 03, 2022
Take a look at the following:

1. During Sallah, fare prices don't go up in the North. Some rich Northerners even provide free means of transportation for their people wishing to return for the occasion. In Igboland, during Easter, Christmas and New Year festivities, cost of transportation goes times five higher than what it used to be. It's not as though there's rise in fuel pump price.

2. On the road, if a Hausa or Fulani police officer stops you, he sounds friendly and playful. He allows you go whether or not you gave him money. But an Igbo police officer will park you, demand for even the date the vehicle was manufactured. He'll squeeze his face as if he's doing police job free of charge. He will cork the gun for you just to prove a point of villainy. He'll now charge you high before releasing you. If you speak Igbo language to him, the case worsens. But if you speak Hausa to a Hausa officer, he'll be happy and will give you a knuckle.

3. Here in Igboland, a Hausa okada rider will pick and drop you at a destination and charge you as low as N150. Tricycle chatter as well. An Igbo okada man will pick and drop you at same destination and charge you as high as N500.Tricycle chatter is a different ballgame for an Igbo rider. He charges N1, 200 for the same place a Hausa rider collects N600 for.

4. You go to market to buy meat. A Hausa meat seller will add "jara" if you jokingly request it. An Igbo seller will quarrel with you and ask if they added "jara" to him at where he bought the animal.

5. In the North, a distance of 10 kilometres is charged N300 as fare cost. In Igboland, you are charged N700. They'll overload the vehicle with passengers and smelling stuff at the back. If you complain, they pick anger and increase the volume of the music appliance. It's not as if there's disparity in the cost of fuel between North and South.

6. In Igboland, transport companies will be using a bus to load five others at the same time thereby delaying the takeoff of the movement of the first bus.

7. An Igbo trader will hoard and place times two the purchase cost of a good or ware for a gain. He doesn't care the plight of the consumers.

After living in the North of Nigeria, it'll be hard for you to cope with living here in the South East. The cost of living in the South East is very high. Still, the Igbo will be the first to complain how bad the government treats them and the economy. Christmas season is in view. Fare price will quadruple. From Awka to Enugu will be N6000. Now, it's N2500 by Sienna. Fuel pump price won't add money as to why the price is rising. It's just greed, avarice, gluttony, etc. Nwoba Chika Nwoba now asks: Who's actually the problem of Ndi Igbo in Igboland?

U got this all wrong... Igbos re progressive, competitive and always desire the good things of life. They believe in giving themselves the best of anything life can offer. The average igboman sends his children to the most expensive schools in town or abroad, they feed their families with good foods, they build or rent very comfortable houses conducive enough for them and their families, they take care of immediate and extended families, they wear good clothes and so on. All these things re what the igboman factors into his business and pricing of his services in order to be able go meet up with these huge responsibilities.

The Hausas on the other hand, are the direct opposite of the igbos. They re somewhat conservative in their approach to businesses and making money due to the fact that they do not have much responsibilities or aspirations in life(not in a derogatory way). Most times they re content with the simple life. They live a solitary life, more like all man for himself kind of life. No attachment to parents or siblings. They only start taking family responsibilities when they get married. They don't live in expensive houses nor eat expensive food. They don't send their kids to expensive schools nor aspire to travel abroad for education.

So the average northerner's simple lifestyle determines how much he charges customers in his business. Since they do not have much responsibilities, they tend to lower their prices.

I have lived in both regions and I know what I'm talking about.

In other words, you're saying Igbo people increases prices of goods and services because they want to maintain a certain lifestyle at the detriment of consumers? And you call it being progressive and competitive? Isn't that stupidity and fraud?

you need to travel to a capitalist country and see how things are done. You also travel to a socialist country like venezuela, brazil and see things for yourself. Thats why igbos thrive abroad unlike northerners. An igbo man will wear slippers to deceive you but he has a mansion somewhere. Thats their nature. A good example of the igbos are the kikuyu people of kenya.

You are very correct. When you live in the North for sometimes, you will find it hard to adapt to the way of life in the EAST. You can stay in the North for 2 years and you won't see anybody fight or People querrell. But in the East, you can't go out in a day and come back without witnessing some fight scenes.

You must witness scenes of fight in the market, commercial vehicles, Parks and your neighborhood. Every body blood too dey hot for East.

The Transport fare is outrageous in the EAST. From Kaduna to Abuja in a Peugeot 806, Wolkswagen Sharan or Golf 4 is 1,500 in a park. And the distance between Abuja and Kaduna is about 200km. From Abuja to Kano is about 400km, but they charge 2,500.

In the North, when you are traveling and you run out of cash or you are stranded with no money on you. Go to the nearest motor park, explain your predicament to the park officials. They will ensure you get to your destination without paying a dime.

There is a market price for goods and services, but Igbos go overboard in maximising profit against the expected fixed price, they do these at the expense of costumers, are other business men and women doing charity because they don't over price their products like the Igbos? Are they the only business men and women in the country? That is the point of this thread, they are swindling and cheating people with their exorbitant price, and funny thing is, it is their people in the east that are feeling the brunt the most.

trust me northerners cannot thrive abroad the way they are doing in Nigeria. In Nigeria they have ample opportunities due to their hold in government. Do you know arthur eze has oil block in angola, do you know innoson has oil block in sierra leone, some igbo men have factories outside the country.

NCN.

They are business men and women by blood, that is why they try to maximise profit.so just chill.

Pure greed and callousness.

There's a very thin line between 'maximising profit' and fraud.
