How to I explain to my wife that the game she left 10 minutes ago at 2-0 is now 4-0

Then she'll watch the recap of the match and see Dennis missing a penalty...

grin grin grin

I knew that were going to concede many goals because our coach's tactical plan was wrong from the beginning.
I mean we are playing a highly motivated Portuguese team on their home ground and then opted to play a very attack minded game; we should have sat back and absorb their pressure, while looking for a slip or two to launch a very quick counter-attack which might lead to a goal(s) for us.

I think Nigeria needs to take a break from football. If it will take 3 to 4 break, we need it.
Honestly speaking bro. Like 10 good years will be enough for them to gather momentum. This is an eyesore. They needed a century rest away from soccer game.

What's wrong with Nigeria having a black coach?

That's Just it.. because he's black. He's not respected . Mention one successful black African President who was not military!.
Westerhof had 2 things going for him. One he had a wealth of talent but 2 - He could talk to foreign scouts and sell the players ( at least that was the rumour then ). We need a white coach PERIOD

exception :- Why it didnt work Sunday Oliseh was surprising to me.
Noted : Stephen Keshi !

Nigeria matter don pass coach. These our players are either just not good enough or they are not just motivated to play decent football. What I saw against Portugal was just "wo let's come and play for the Super eagles, so that it will not be like we are not patriotic". No press, common basic passes, we cannot string them together. Our performances this year have been so disgraceful. Our players will rather put in their might while playing for their clubs, of course which is quite understandable, than to play well for their country. Watching Nigeria play football is like packing a group of amateurs to form a starting eleven and just tell them to play football. No plan, no tactics. I wonder how the NFF is comfortable with all this happening.

I have never liked that PALARO (Paseiro or something) coach;he looks to me more like a Rugby coach than a football coach ! Amaju Pinnick simply ruined our football, his tenure as FA boss was disastrous ! Who in their right minds will employ this failure from Portugal as the national team coach ?! That idiot should be sacked immediately if we don't want to embarrass ourselves, national colours and image more than this. PALARO from Portugal has nothing to offer !

I'm glad it's Ghana that made it to the world cup. Nigeria don't have what it takes to compete at that level now; it's so obvious from today's game !

Portugal played carefully because of World cup, imagine if this was normal match. Dem for spell Obidense with goals.
