The FIFA scandal documentary on Netflix is a must watch for every Nigerian vis-a-vis African.
There are huge lessons to take home for the black race regarding his penchance to put personal greed ahead of community good and development.

Qatar basically won the hosting right for the world cup by buying up majority of the members in the 22-man committee which voted in the decision to award the 2022 world cup hosting right to the gulf nation.

Michele Platini in return for his vote forced the Qataris to enter into an arms deal with France worth billions of dollars, plus buy their aircrafts, and a football club in France (Yeah, that's how they came about PSG).

The Brazilians traded their vote for a gas deal which saw the setting up of a fully functional mega gas plant in the Amazon nation.

The Africans among them asked for 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS wired straight to their personal accounts.

Like bro, you came to the table where nation-changing deals were being made and all you cared for was your personal account balance? Not the millions of lives that could be changed forever? You didn't ask for your country's share of those far reaching deals of epic national proportions worth in the regions of several hundred millions of dollars. Instead you went for a self serving interest thereby denying your people the luxury of a better life?

That Netflix docu summed up the mentality of the the African man in its entirety. If you are wondering why it's the richest yet poorest continent, look no further.

Die Mannschaft (Germany) for the world cup. Our midfield is arguably the best heading to Qatar. Kimmich, Goretzka, Kroos, Gundogan, Muller, Sane, Gnabry, Reus, Musiala, Havertz. Check it out na.

It's a shame Florian Wirtz has been injured all season, so its unlikely he'll be on that particular Lufthansa flight to Qatar.

PS: Marco Reus didn't make it to the world cup. Kroos I heard is retired from the national team.

Die Mannschaft has arrived Qatar, airlifted by Germany's national carrier, Lufthansa.

INTERNAL MEMO;

To: Married Women of Nigeria

From: Concerned husbands

Subject: WORLD CUP

Dearest wives,

We wish to bring to your attention that the 2022 World Cup Edition will be kicking off in Doha-Qatar, beginning Sunday the 20th day of November 2022 for a period of twenty-eight (28) days.

In this regard, we wish to remind you of the following;

1. Surrender the remote(s) as soon as Friday the 18th day of November 2022, to avoid last-minute scrambles over the same.

2. That you shall be required to support the team(s) which your husband supports, irrespective of how it performs during the tournament.

3. That you avoid unnecessary questions during the matches, especially when the game is tensed, or the husband's team is trailing. Questions like, "Is that Haaland, or where is Pogba today?" will not be tolerated. Just to let you know, the two aren't going to Qatar for different reasons.

4. That some matches, will better be watched outside (in a club or any other venue that we will consider to be conducive), in the company of friends. Therefore, expect some of our members to be back at home at or shortly after midnight.

5. That you reduce your budgets by half, as some of the cash shall be directed towards pre-match analysis and/or post-match celebrations.

We look forward to your considered compliance with the above directives, without any alterations whatsoever. Any adjustments will be communicated later.

Thank you!

Chairman,

Married Men Association (MMA)
