Have you been replaced in a place or in someone’s life and you realize life goes on with or without you? Pride filled up my head each holiday as a teenager. It wasn’t my fault. Every family I stayed with wanted me to visit again so I took pride declining invitations. I loved and served each family fiercely including mine. Gloom descended on my family each time I was traveling even to dormitory. My mum later told me something that crushed me, that still crushes me.
