1. POSITION - SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT/HSE OFFICER.

We are seeking for qualified candidates to join our team of professionals in a high profile Environmental Consultancy Firm located in Port Harcourt.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Candidates must possess a minimum of M.sc degree in any of the Natural or Environmental Sciences. Must have, at least, Five years of relevant experience in Environmental Studies and proficient in Environmental Studies reporting. Possession of a professional certificate (which must include HSE training Certification) will be an added advantage.

THE PERSON
Candidates must be resourceful and creative. Must have very good interpersonal and writing skills and must be prepared to work under pressure. Must also be proficient in the use of computer.
He/She must have sound knowledge of Environmental studies, Environmental Auditing and Project Management and conversant with the Nigeria Environmental Laws.

SUMMARY OF JOB PROFILE
 Contract Analysis (Scope, obligations, deliverables, budget, etc)
 Project Management (Design, Planning and Logistics)
 Project Execution. Monitoring and Prompt delivery
 Filed studies (Sampling and data collection)
 Interpretation of results for solutions to clients’ problems
 Report writing, Production and Quality Control and Assurance
 Inspect office and projects environment to detect unsafe or unhealthy working conditions.
 Conduct safety briefing on a daily basis before commencement of work.
 Keep the company’s HSE records/statistics performance
 Monitoring of activities to ensure adherence to approved Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
 Production of necessary and relevant HSE documents
 Carry out HSE meetings on a monthly basis

2. POSITION - LABORATORY MANAGER

We are seeking for a qualified candidate to join our team of professionals in a high profile Laboratory located in Port Harcourt.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Candidates must possess a minimum of M.sc degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Microbiology or Science Laboratory Technology. Must have, at least, five years of relevant experience in Management position. Possession of a professional certificate will be an added advantage.

THE PERSON
Candidates must be resourceful and creative. Must have very good interpersonal and writing skills and must be prepared to work under pressure. He/She must have sound knowledge of Laboratory Management, Analytical skill and conversant with various Standard Analytical methods. Must be proficient in the use of computer.

SUMMARY OF JOB PROFILE
 Provide overall laboratory leadership and supervision to ensure timeliness and accuracy of analytical requirements.
 Be responsible for overall strategic direction of the laboratory including: client management and business development, profit/loss management, personnel resource management and technical support for the laboratory personnel.
 Review test results to ensure quality control.
 Be responsible for training and professional development of laboratory personnel.
 Develop and maintain appropriate control and quality assurance procedures; ensure compliance with current safety requirements. Monitoring all laboratory activities to ensure adherence to approved Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
 Participate in short, medium and long range planning and budgeting processes; project personnel and equipment needs; develop and monitor the laboratory budget.
 Maintain current knowledge of advances in laboratory technology including all the regulations thereto.
