1-Year-Old Boy Drowns After Falling Into Bucket Of Water In Anambra (Photos, Video)

A boy, 1, has died after falling into a bucket of water in Nnewi, Anambra state.

The child's parents reportedly left him in the care of his siblings when the tragedy occurred on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The siblings were busy playing when the child made his way to buckets of water arranged outside and fell into one.

He was found too late.

Videos shared online show loved ones praying for the boy to come back to life. No one is seen performing CPR in the video.

Sadly, the boy died.

How is this possible considering the size of the baby and the bucket?
They should investigate this.

Careless parents should be first flogged before they are consoled.

Frankly, people have become really lazy they outsource everything. Laundry - drycleaner, cooking- caterers, housekeeping- maid.

What's the mother doing that a 1 year old is left unattended?

For them to leave the child in charge of the siblings... were they screwing ?

Sad. Toodlers love water play because it stimulates their senses

Government at all levels should continuously do public enlightenment campaigns on safety at home and teach life saving skills in public places such as schools, places of worship, markets, on TV etc......I believe if someone around the boy was skilled in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the boy may have stood a chance of surviving because an inch of water is enough to drown a kid of that age.
