Hello Friends, Please who has an idea of the latest information on the BAT Graduate Management Trainee that was published early this month(August 2011)?? Has anyone, who applied received any invitation for an interview or a job test? Cuz i applied and i have not gotten any response from them, thanks.

Hey all, i also took the online test, but haven't heard back from them. @ Tosik, which of the dept did you apply for, as i gathered from a close source that they have started calling for interviews for finance dept only. Goodday everyone, I also got invited for this interview! What I want to know is if anybody has an idea of how the interview will be like, are we writing a test or just getting interviewed. And also how good is this place to work, cos 2yrs seems like a pretty long time to be a trainee, do they pay trainees? @tendy08, I don't think its only finance dept cos I applied for operations. So u seem to have inside knowledge, can u ansa any of those questions for me

Temix, yes, its a nice place to work, and their staff welfare package is quite attractive. Not so sure, so u don't quote me, buh i hear the pay is like 200-250k thereabout. I also heard the 1st interview will be more of screening (credentials); there's also a 3rd interview, before the final assessment.

I also wrote mine on the 2nd of Oct; yet to hear back from them.

See, when u get 2 their office(, if u were invited after d online test), it's just another more difficult test u r going 2 write. Una think say dem nor wise? How dem wan knw say na u write d online test?
It is if u pass dat test @ deir office u wld be interviewed on a later date.

Wow guy, These BAT people are really something else, I am still yet to recieve any correspondence from them, i heard they come in batches, the thing is i don know why they havnt sent me a mail telling me if i passed the online test or failed it, i really dont like being kept in the dark like this, Now someone said 200-250k wow is that monthly for management trainee men i shud have done better if thats true, and temi this is your chance o dont mess it up ok. got to d Final stage of their recruitment last year.

then, the test was organised by people Temp (44 Isaac John, GRA-Ikeja).

and it was numeric reasoning & Verbal reasoning and was computer based.

However, before the test, we first had a pre-interview session @ one recruiting agency company on the island. It was the successful candidates from the pre-interview that sat for the computer based test am talking about.

after the computer test was an Assessment Centre and finally a meeting with the head of the unit you applied for.

After everything, only 15 persons were selected.

Also temi this is what you shud expect, 50 or 60 questions in 1 hour. Questions comprising of regular GMAT verbal and quantitative reasonings. The verbal part should have synonyms, antonyms and the like, while the quantitative should have mean, median and other statistical stuffs, then some calculations, Goodluck man.

I fil awful.i got a 'we regret msg 4rm BAT on d 12th also bt i tot it was because i aply 4 human resource and operations.does it rily mean am no more selectd cos i wrote d test online.

@chysleak: it means u failed d test. Expect no response anymore, except when u reapply next time. Cheers!

I'm sorry to say this; and I hope you will forgive my insensitivity.

By virtue of your tenses above, I don't think you can ever recieve any invitation from BAT. Just forget it. How on earth would you say that " I had took their online test too, " I think it is obvious why u may have not been contacted.

, but, wait a minute, did you just say it was an online test? Oh Sorry, you may still be considered because I hope it is computer that will mark your scripts and it may not take note of of 'FAKHABHULHARRIS" like this

I sugest you be your own boss rather than writing test or all along. Check www.talktoomuch.net to tap into international telecommunication. I promise you will make it big time there
