We're all celebrating christmas and i'm very sure that more than 90% of us are preparing rice and chicken
I just wanted to find out why rice and chicken is the most preferred meal in nigeria during christmas, are there any beliefs, superstitions etc

There is no superstitions or belief. Just that it is handy; and you can make it into different varieties like jollof, fried, coconut or just white rice with dodo or beans.

On the other hands, you can't make tuwo semo or even starch into anything.

My opinion sha.

That is because rice is a celebratory food.
The most eaten food in the world.
It represents some many good things as well.
Rice is a food that makes people happy.

In celebration. U share what everyone can eat irrespective of religion, tribe, state of origin.

Hence Rice. The most common food in the world.

Its nt just Christmas. On birthdays, easter too.
