It's not uncommon for celebrity marriages to end in divorce, and comedian Basketmouth is no exception. His marriage to former beauty queen Elsie Okpocha ended in divorce in 2022, and while the details of their split have not been made public, there are still some lessons that can be learned from their failed union.

Communication is key: In any relationship, effective communication is essential. Without open and honest communication, it's easy for misunderstandings and conflicts to arise.

Don't ignore red flags: If you notice warning signs in your relationship, it's important to address them instead of ignoring them. Doing so can help prevent problems from escalating and potentially save the relationship.

Seek help when needed: If you're struggling in your relationship, it's okay to ask for help. Whether it's seeking therapy or seeking guidance from trusted friends or family members, getting outside help can be beneficial in working through problems and finding solutions.

Remember that relationships take work: No relationship is perfect, and it's important to remember that it takes effort and compromise to make a relationship work. It's important to be willing to put in the work to maintain and strengthen the bond with your partner.

Don't be afraid to move on: If you've tried everything and the relationship is still not working, it's okay to acknowledge that it may be time to move on. It's better to end things and start a new chapter rather than staying in a toxic or unhappy situation.

While it's always sad to see a relationship end, there are always lessons to be learned. By taking the time to reflect on what went wrong and what could have been done differently, we can hopefully avoid making the same mistakes in future relationships.

The only lessons to be learnt are;

1) If you don’t want a divorce, don’t get married.

2) if you get married, prepare to get a divorce.

Some of these breakups are beyond human comprehension.

There are so many things roaming the streets as humans.

They neither fed the public with a comestible purpose nor reason of the selcouth divorce. That's the only thing we have to learn; you can grow apart subltly or resolve amicably.

Nothin' has to come with noise or bad blood. They will still see their kids, have closure with someone else, get their finances right, sometimes have cloying imissyou sex. The only victims are the children that won't understand that sometimes peace of mind; comes with not living together.
