Heartburn is an uncomfortable and unbearable burning sensation in your chest right behind the breastbone. Heartburn is caused by acid reflux, There is a ring of muscle that allows food into your stomach, if this born relaxes when it shouldn’t. there will be problem because it will allow acid from the stomach goes back up to your esophagus, and when there is too much acid in the esophagus, there will be heartburn. As painful it might be there are natural ways to treat heartburn

1. baking soda
A baking soda or sodium bicarbonate as it is called can help curb that burning, sensation in you chest caused by acid reflux. Baking soda, has a PH close to 8.0 and can neutralize stomach acid. It can treat heartburn naturally because it is a base substance. Just add 1 teaspoon of baking soda into one glass of water, stir the mixture and drink at once and that mixture of one glass is okay for one day. please do not take for more than a week because it contain a lot of salt which can curse some side effect.


2. Aloe juice
Aloe juice is one of the natural ways to treat heartburn because it contain some ant inflammation compound that help heal burns and it can also help with heartburn because it can reduce inflammation. Just take a glass of aloe vera juice before any meal or when you just notice the heartburn and it will calm the system down. You can take it whenever for it has no side effect. While buying get the one that has the laxative component remove.


3. Chew gum
Dental Research have show that if you chew sugar free chew gum, it helps clear heartburn within minutes because as you are chewing gum it stimulate the salivary gland to produce more saliva and all the acid built up in your esophagus will be diluted and cleared away. Mind you, sugar free chew gum. After a meal, take one sugar free gum into your mouth and chew for about 40 minutes to clear out any possible heartburn.


4. don’t lie down just after eating
Heartburn will be worse at night, so do not lie down after you just eat. Stay at list 3 to 4 hours after meal. If you lie down few minutes after meal the digested content and fulid will move back into the esophagus and this will curse more acid in that region. 5. Change eating habit
