The sole purpose of every business is to make profit regardless of the scale. Every business owner knows that no matter how fantastic his/her business proposition may be, the efficiency of advertising cannot be undermined. Just like the popular question goes "Can you light a candle and still cover it rather than set it on a lamp stand to illuminate the room?" The answer is "NO".

Also note that it is one thing to advertise and another to advertise rightly. 1. Target Audience:
Who is your target audience?

Every effective advertising campaign must start with clear identification, understanding and description of your target audience. This understanding helps to shape your contents/messages and determines the medium(s) you would select for your ads placement.

2. Location
Where can you find your target audience?
To answer this question, you'll need to answer these sub questions to give you insights as to where you can find your target audience.

Where do they hang out?
What routes deliver most of your target audience?

3. Billboard Type
Having made a resolve on the location, the next factor to consider is selecting the right billboard type.
When selecting the right billboard, ensure it is visible from atleast 200 metres. Look out for things that may obstruct the billboard like trees, buildings or other billboards.
Do ensure that the billboard matches your brand stature. For example, if you are advertising a premium brand, then you need a premium billboard structure like an LED or an imposing static billboard.
