Hello Nairalanders please i need your advice my son of 2yrs has adenoids, always snoring at night and also has recurrent catarrh & coughing, i have been to general Hospital twice they didnt recommend surgery instead they gave a nose drop and some drugs but i didnt see any difference, next appointment is two months away. i have read articles where i learnt kids outgrowns it but honestly i dont think i have such patience watching him having such breathing discomfort. now here is my question ---- is surgery the only option to get this sorted or is this a sure natural home remedy to make the adenoids vanish. please its urgent.

I am not a Doctor neither am I in the medical field. However what I know is that Adenoids shrink as the child grows older. It is usually after the child gets to a certain age either 5 or 6 and there is no improvement that a surgery is recommended.
