BewareOf419: This will continue to damage the image of Nigeria police international wise. How do foreigners trust that they are safe in a country where the police allow a prime suspect in the murder of a whole family to run away. This will make the whole world to see Nigeria as the most dangerous place to live on planet earth. Rearrest that idiot!!! |

Look, you cannot escape from the Nigerian Police custody once you've been arrested. The Police sees you as their next meal ticket so they keep eyes on you more than they even guard their service guns. I know this for a certainty cause I have friends and relatives in the force. So whenever you read stupid headlines like this, just know the suspect was released by the Police themselves after proper settlement has been done. The nonsense about an escape is just poppycock meant to deceive Nigerians. 1 Like |

gaby:Since the two policemen leading the criminal wouldn't handcuff him for reasons best known to them before the unexpected happened, then, life for life, they should be held responsible for the consequences of their action. Nothing happened, by chance. Nigerians are unpredictable. |

Police don cash out. After receiving 2 million naira the suspect don escape We all know the killer of the female barrister on Christmas day was only arrested on camera. Npf contributes 50% of the problems we are facing in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Praxis758: You got the whole story wrong. The people that masterminded the assassination are trying to clean their track. The funny thing about the driver, he may not even know anything about their killing. You should ask yourself this question...Is it possible for a suspected criminal to be taken to the hospital for health related issues without wearing an handcuff or properly monitored? And again, where did the source of the news about the suspect escaping came from? A lot about the assassination of the CBN staff along with his family is in the dark. The Nigeria police should investigate his colleagues at work first before arresting his driver. I want to believe they're the one that killed him not the driver. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

BewareOf419: Am % sure that this is a highly premeditated murder case, I reliably understand that the Watsap number of the murdered woman was still functioning as at yesterday night without any attempt to even track the location of the person in possession of the the phone also it’s note worthy to know that this couples lived directly opposite the former governor of ogun state and next to the osinle of oke Ona egba mansion in an highly secured Ibarra housing estate in Abeokuta, no Neighbour’s or security could notify either the fire services or the police until the house was completely raised, the escaped driver was the personal driver of the late wife, the murdered son was to travel to the uk next month for his masters, he graduated 3years ago from Babcock university, the so called house maid that escaped from the ogun river specifically told the police that the escaped suspect LEKAN participated in the killing that he withness it , they even cut off the hands and the legs of the couple and the son oreoluwa was beheaded before being threw into the river, after all this gory tales the police now took the suspect to the hospital without handcuffs and he escaped just like that,it’s so sad and sickening. 1 Like |
