Care home worker jailed for stealing thousands of pounds in savings from vulnerable residents.

Abiola Akinremi, 41, abused her position as an administrator at the facility in Abbey Wood to make dozens of unauthorised withdrawals from the bank accounts of patients.

They found £43,000 was missing from residents’ bank accounts, including £32,000 from one victim.

Akinremi, a mother-of-three, first started stealing from residents when she needed money for childcare, and continued the fraud to “fund her own lifestyle”.

Lack of contentment! A 41yo mother stealing & using fraud to fund her lifestyle, to what end exactly? Pepper people at home or live a fake life using people's hard earned money?
This is shameful & a dent to the caregiving scheme, I hope this & series of other corrupt practices by Nigerians won't make them delist Nigeria from the caregiver visa cum February

At the bold, says who? If they delist Nigerians, other countries are there to do it, we are not the only ones eligible. Most African, Asians & Europeans are eligible. Apply to carehomes and you'll see some have systematically delisted Nigerians by notifying intending applicants in their site that only caregivers from SA, Spain & Ukraine can apply

embarassed This is ridiculous! Is this what Awolowo sent them to be doing abroad? They've managed to turn Peckham to Abule-Egba and yet it's not enough, now they have resorted to stealing from their bosses instead on engaging in quality education the former Minister of Finance sent them abroad to do, SPITS!

This is a very wicked thing to do. Thankfully, she's in a country that doesnot justify crime.
