An unspecified number of pupils have been kidnapped after unknown gunmen stormed the LGEA primary school in Alwaza in Doma LGA of Nasarawa State on Friday, January 20, IGBERETV reports.

The abductors who arrived on motorcycles, and whisked away the primary school pupils are said to have laid siege around the school while the children were going to school.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Rahman Nansel, said a joint team comprising of Police, Military and Vigilante have been mobilized and are on the trail of the abductors.
