When studying, it is important to try to understand the material, rather than just memorise it.

Ask yourself questions about what you are learning and look for answers.

If you can’t understand something then ask for help from a tutor or teacher. Create study guides and flashcards to help you remember key facts.

Also, take breaks during studying.

It can be difficult to concentrate for long periods of time, so give yourself a break every hour or so.

Take a few minutes to relax and stretch, or grab a snack. During longer breaks, go outside or do something fun. This will help you stay focused and motivated.

Additionally, create a study plan which allows for regular review of material. This will ensure that you are reviewing material more often and can help to reduce forgetting.

Finally, take breaks during studying and use memory techniques such as mnemonics to help retain information.

Try to make right note after the end of the lecture and write down any questions you have. Review them every few days in your flashcard before tests or exams.
