Here the intercom installation involves the use of cables.This can be achieved by either of

the 2 methods below:

a.Surface Installaton: This involves passing the cables along inconspicuous parts of the wall

surface and then trunking them with trunking pipes to cover them up.

b.Conduit Installation: Here, the cables are passed through hidden pipes pre-installed in the

wall.

Here, the intercom comprises purely analogue equipment. The extensions are cordless and

mobile. The intercom can perform all the functions of the wired intercom.

(b)Digital Wireless Intercom
The digital wireless intercom is made up of purely digital equipment. The extensions are also

addition to all the voice functions that can be performed by the analogue and wired intercom.
