MATCH PREVIEW

Real Madrid set down an impressive marker at the start of this season's title race, with Getafe the next roadblock Mourinho intends on motoring down.So far, so good for Real, who sit on top of La Liga for the first time since Barcelona usurped them with their 5-0 win at the Camp Nou last November. The important thing now is to stay there.Real were irresistible in their 6-0 win over Real Zaragoza. Four different scorers, five different players making the final pass, six goals. Real have been irresistible, in spells, under Jose Mourinho. That win a fortnight ago was the eighth time Real Madrid had scored six or more since Mourinho took charge.

The main problem for Real Madrid - just one trophy in the past three seasons - is maintaining that form against most teams in the league. Dropped points to Sporting, Zaragoza, Levante, Mallorca, Deportivo and Almeria disrupted last year's title charge. It's now up to Real to prove that won't happen this year, with Getafe the first example to be made of at home, with the added incentive of it being a local derby.Mourinho, who hadn't lost a league game at home in nine years, lost two towards the rear of last season against Sporting and Zaragoza. Getafe will have to be beyond their best to add to that pair. With 61 goals scored by Real Madrid at the Bernabeau last season, Getafe - who conceded 34 goals on the road last season - will hope for their back four of Mane, Lopo, Cata Diaz and former Madridista Miguel Torres can stay fit in order to stop a front-line containing some of the best attacking talent in the world; however, Mane and Lopo are struggling with injuries, meaning Alex Perez and Masilela may slot in.

Getafe are still searching for their first win under new manager Luis Garcia after his former club Levante picked up a deserved point on the opening weekend. Nicolas Fedor's long-range effort was a rare bright spot for the Azulones, who were under pressure from Levante for large periods of the match - despite the trio of Lacen, Casquero and Rodriguez in the midfield looking to contain the opposition.

Those three will have to be in phenomenal form to stop Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo scored 40 league goals last season and already has three after his hat trick at Zaragoza, and with Di Maria, Ozil, Benzema, Kaka and Higuain - amongst others - supplying him, he'll be looking to top the scoring charts again this season. But the table that really matters to those involved at Real Madrid is the La Liga one; a comfortable win against Getafe will see them at the summit for one more week, at least.

My prediction Real Madrid would defeat Getafe 3-0. Cristiano Ronaldo would score two goals and Benzema would score his first goal in the league .

That penalty call turned the game on its head. It could have ended in a draw.

It could have ended in a loss if casillas had not stopped some of Miku's shot on goal
and
It could have ended in another zaragoza if fabio had taken his chances
but that shows you the power a slight error by official could cause in a game.

Now we won't hear how Mourinho wishes he was born a billion years ago. . . . If such dubious penalty was awarded us, we for don hear another por que.
Mou is a shameless hypocrite.
