CBN directs banks to pay new naira notes over the counter Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed commercial banks to commence payment of new naira notes to customers over the counter. This is good news and a welcome relief to the masses, particularly rural dwellers and vulnerable citizens, who have, disproportionately, borne the brunt of this new regulation.
