AKERMAS ENERGY LIMITED IS RECRUITING EQUIPMENT QA/QC ENGINEER– SENIOR, MID LEVEL AND JUNIOR CONSULTANT

INTRODUCTION
Akermas Energy is an indigenous company incorporated to deliver value added services to her clients. We aim at providing engineering and integrated solutions in developing new facilities, and highly conversant with classification rules & other standards and codes for Oil and Gas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan & Manage Equipment & Materials QAQC.
2. Accountable for the quality and quality of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
3. Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
4. Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.
5. Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.
6. Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
7. Assist employees in ensuring knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
8. Manage to lift all equipment, handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and perform quality audits per the required schedule.
9. Monitor an efficient system, record all project activities, and analyse all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.
10. Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.
11. Develop a method statement for the activity, including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, and Inspection.
12. Test Plan and Checklist based on project specifications.
13. Liaise with the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to the Consultant.
14. Coordinate with the Consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for Inspection.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, and able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety in the workplace.

Senior Consultant
1. Should be able to carry out the following-;
2. Utilize QA principles to maintain high capacity and optimize maintenance service and other engineering processes.
3. Implementation of quality control procedures
4. Review and approval of contractor’s quality documents and implement contractors audit.
5. Responsible for internal auditing and ensure projects are executed as process and procedure.
6. Conduct and participate in company’s quality or technical compliance audits for contractor, sub-contractors or vendors.
7. Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with project managers on a daily basis issuing noncompliance reports in cases of noncompliance and reporting to project manager in cases of shortage of skilled labourers.
8. Review contract documents for each contract stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise project manager on deficiencies.
9. Carry out cost and quality analysis on contract/projects.
10. Above 15 years work experience.
11. BSc.

Mid-Level Consultant
1. Should be able to carry out the following:
2. Utilize QA principles to maintain high capacity and optimize maintenance service and other engineering processes.
3. Conduct and participate in company’s quality or technical compliance audits for contractor, sub-contractors or vendors.
4. Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with project managers on a daily basis issuing non- compliance reports in cases of non- compliance and reporting to project manager in cases of shortage of skilled laborers.
5. Review contract documents for each contract stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise project manager on deficiencies.
6. Carry out cost and quality analysis on contract/projects.
7. 5 to 15 years work experience.
8. BSc.

Junior Consultant
1. Utilize QA principles to maintain high capacity and optimize maintenance service and other engineering processes.
2. Conduct and participate in company’s quality or technical compliance audits for contractor, sub- contractors or vendors.
3. Formulate the Basis for all projects, Engineering designs and studies.
4. Carry out cost and quality analysis on contract/projects.
5. 2 to 5 years of experience.
6. BSc.
