A friend recently went to collect his transcript from his tertiary institution to discovered that majority of scores of courses he sat and had previously seen when pasted on the notice board were not captured in the final result. He was later told that the senate gave a waiver for result not seen or not recorded by the department as missing results and it was voided. This has caused a sharp and tremendous drop in my friend's cgpa. Now, he planned to make a case with the department, institution and VC to search for the result after years he graduated from the institution. What advice should I give him on this adventure?

This issue is peculiar to most institutions in the country where you would rewrite a course severally to avoid the eventually of result not found. Lecturer would not mark student's scripts, but would hire neighbours, students to mark scripts on their behalf.
