Some years ago I watched a documentary where some dogs were able to sniff and identify people suffering from a particular disease....don't remember the name .. like let's say cancer. With this in mind I'm thinking if this bird has the ability to sniff out DNA... did so to the mother ... and match it with that of the son... so on entering the cemetery the bird knows to which grave the guy has to go. But then based on this... does the bird do that to others? ... if yes ... then this is a common thing with this bird ... but if not... then I'm thinking is the mother really dead in the grave? You heard of dogs in particular behaving weird and leading strangers to someone in crisis in the bush... down a ravine or some such remote spot. Is this bird rushing the son to his mother in crisis?... the reason the bird kept walking around the grave?... maybe saying dig here... your kind is down there and needs help. Maybe they should exhumed the body. Just my wandering thoughts.

Also it might be because the bird have seen him go to that grave before, you will see that the man branched to the grave first while the bird was still going forward before it came to follow him.

I'm sure other people who have families in that graveyard can say the same about the bird.

On the surface, it might be bizarre. But it happens with surprising frequency.

Be kind to certain animals and they'll take you as a relative. It happens with domestic pets. We all know this. Not sure why it is surprising when wild animals do it.

I understand you man... but the whole thing wired me out especially seeing the fresh grave.... I understand the sixth sense thing because I have watched a documentary where a trained elephant was able to identify hat that belonged to 5guys with name tags on it... the sense of smell and all...I still think there's an explanation to the behavior of that bird...

I have also seen a duck that liked this particular lady.. It was domesticated, found this lady and picked interest because according to the documentary, the only logical explanation was she probably looked like the previous owner..
