Banks are giving out old #500 and #1000 but at the same time refusing to accept it back for deposit.

It is believed that CBN is complicit in not being transparent in abiding fully by the supreme Court ruling.

Is there no law in Nigeria?
Buhari should speak to address the situation now.

if bank issues you the old note, reject it until you hear from CBN.

Some of them collected this huge sums from corrupt politician running away from CBN against CBN directive, and now looking for how to push it to the masses because they can't take them to CBN themselves

Imagine banks issuing out money that is ILLEGAL TENDER without being seriously sanctioned by CBN.

Then CBN & Buhari disregarding Supreme Court ruling.
Such a lawless country.

Emefiele is not immune to arrest. Supreme Court should issue him ultimatum and subsequently throw his bum into kirikiri.
