The schools in South Korea are good and many of them offer courses in English. Although it is very advantageous if you
can speak the Korean language, as this will help with making things easier. South Korea could be a destination for people seeking greener pastures, especially through the educational route. Many of the schools usually admit during Fall (August/September)
of each year and Spring (March) of each year. For example, for Fall 2023 admission, you have until early April 2023 to apply. Some of the
documents needed to apply will be application forms, your academic transcripts and certificates, proof of English language (TOEFL, IELTS) or
you can get an authorized letter from your school telling that you studied in English. This can be used to waive the English language requirement and all these documents will need to be legalized through the South Korean embassy by the application deadline. After you have been offered admission, you will need to get a visa to travel and that is when you will have to present a proof of funds (at least 20,000 usd) in your account. And you may also have to pay at least a semester fee as tuition deposit which is around 7,000 USD. But most of the schools offer some scholarships depending on your application, so you may not need to show proof of fund if your fees are 100% covered by the school, and depending on how much is covered, then you will have to show the proof of funds.
