To split a large PST file into smaller parts, you can use the built-in feature of Microsoft Outlook called "Archive." Here's how to do it: Using Regain PST Splitter software.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Options."
3. Click on "Advanced" and then click on "AutoArchive Settings."
4. In the "AutoArchive" dialog box, select "Archive this folder using these settings."
5. Choose the folder you want to archive and set the "Archive items older than" field to a specific date.
6. Select the "Move old items to" option and click on "Browse" to select a location to save the archived items. You can create a new PST file or choose an existing one.
7. Set any other options as per your requirements and click "OK" to save the settings.
8. Click on "OK" again to close the "Options" dialog box.
9. Once you have set up the archive settings, you can manually run the archive process by clicking on the "File" menu and selecting "Cleanup Tools" > "Archive." Select the folder you want to archive and click on "OK."

Outlook will now move all the items that match the archive settings from the selected folder to the specified PST file. You can repeat the archive process for other folders or create multiple PST files to split the data into smaller parts.

That’s all there is to the process. With these steps, you can easily split a large PST file into smaller parts using the "Archive" feature in Microsoft Outlook. However, if you have a budget, you can absolutely go for any third-party PST splitter tool.
