Many men aren't sure what their prostate is, what it does, or when to call a doctor if they think they might have a problem. So, you need the right information in dealing with this aspect of men's health.
The prostate is a small gland that is part of the male reproductive system. It's supposed to be about the shape and size of a walnut.

It rests below your bladder and in front of your rectum. It surrounds part of the urethra, the tube in your penis that carries urine from your bladder.

The prostate helps make some of the fluid in semen, which carries sperm from your testicles when you ejaculate.
As you age, your prostate can become larger. It’s a normal part of aging for most men.

By the time you reach age 40, your prostate might have gone from the size of a walnut to the size of an apricot. By the time you reach 60, it might be the size of a lemon. Because it surrounds part of the urethra, the enlarged prostate can squeeze that tube. This causes problems when you try to urinate. Typically, you won’t see these problems until you’re 50 or older, but they can start earlier.

3 *PROSTATE CANCER*
-The prostate gland is the common site of cancer in men
-The prostate is affected by cancerous cells
-May have no symptoms at early stages.

*Symptoms*
-Trouble when urinating
-Decreased force in the stream of urine

😃 As you can see, the prostate gland plays a very important role in men's reproduction system, so you can't remove it.

I hv come to realize that d rate of prostrate dis day is becoming alarming and there is or there are not major cause for it.
Back then, our forefathers didn't suffer some of d things we are suffering today, e. G. Weak erection, kidney failure, heart failure, conception in women, PROSTRATE, arthritis, hormonal imbalance in women etc.
Is it bcs of our lifestyle?
Is it bcs of our eating habit?
Or environmental degradation?
From ur response, I believe u are into health line.

You are right, Sir. It is obvious that we are exposed to free radicals more than our forefathers. Free radicals are derived either from normal essential metabolic processes in the human body or from external sources such as exposure to X-rays, ozone, cigarette smoking, air pollutants, and industrial chemicals (many of which our forefathers were not exposed to). Antioxidants in the body help us to fight these free radicals, but the issue is that our lifestyles, our diet and habits are not helping us.
A balance between free radicals and antioxidants is necessary for proper physiological function. If free radicals overwhelm the body's ability to regulate them, i.e when there's no balance between the free radicals we are exposed to and the antioxidants fighting them, it leads to a condition known as oxidative stress. When there are more free radicals present than can be kept in balance by antioxidants, the free radicals can start doing damage to fatty tissue, DNA, and proteins in the body. Proteins,. lipids, and DNA make up a large part of our body, so that damage can lead to a vast number of diseases over time, such as the ones you mentioned above.
We can help our bodies maintain balance by living a healthy lifestyle, eating healthy and by taking supplements rich in antioxidants. Well, we can do our own bit😊

U are right dear, but question, in a country that citizens are living below 1$ per day, and no health insurance from d govt, d rate of poverty keep increasing,
how would d citizens maintain a healthy lifestyle?
How would d citizens eat healthy?
How would d citizens buy supplements that are rich in antioxidants?
Arthritis as an example, to do kneel cap surgery costs roughly 3M, so tell me where an average Nigerian would get such money?
