Ifechukwudeni Oweh, a 16-year-old Nigerian from Port Harcourt, has just landed a remarkable four-month internship with Apple, one of the largest and most innovative technology companies in the world.

Oweh, also known as Teddy, will be working in software engineering, particularly with Apple’s wireless technologies and ecosystem team.

During his internship, Teddy will analyze data from Apple devices to enhance embedded artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.

Teddy graduated from Chokhmah International Academy in Port Harcourt at only 14 years old.

After spending a year working for software companies in Nigeria, he moved to the United States to pursue his bachelor’s degree.
