To me the most common Pidgin word is "Vex". People often think it's not an English word, like it's derived from Pidgin. Some people even find it amusing when you use the word in formal sentences; "I was vexed hearing the truth from him", " Ahmed's professor was vexed by his continued failure to improve his grades" etc.

The word "Vex" is actually an English word and not a made up word only used in the Pidgin English.
