Many nigerians prefer English or believe English is superior to 2 our local dialets{lingua franca}.this attitude is usually common among parents and their children.d mother tongue helps in many ways especially in our educational careers.u need to transfer/relate a word 2 yur mother tongue 4 easy undstanding.whats yur view on this? |

I'm very proud to be Yoruba. I will make sure that my children (when I have children, lol) will proud also. It should be the igbo people that you talk to. They have a major issue with not speaking their language. |
