Is Adulthood A Scam? Or You Are Not Investing Right. by FundQuest: 1:34pm On Apr 25, 2023
We had a chat with Susan 6months ago who is now our client. Susan is a college graduate who just landed her first full-time job. She is excited to start building her career, but she also has expenses and other family bills to pay. Susan wants to start investing, but she doesn’t have a lot of extra cash to spare each month.

At FundQuest, we understand that investing can be a daunting task, especially when you’re working with a tight budget. However, it’s essential to start investing as early as possible, regardless of your budget. The earlier you start, the more time your investments have to grow, and the greater your returns will be. These were our words to Susan while we also gave her following tips for investing on a tight budget to achieve her financial goals.

Set Realistic Goals: It’s important to set realistic financial goals. You may not be able to invest a large amount of money upfront, but you can gradually increase your investment over time. You should also consider the time frame for your investment, your risk tolerance, and your financial objectives.
Start Small: When investing on a tight budget, it’s important to start small. You don’t need a lot of money to start investing, and it’s better to start with a small amount than not start at all. You can start with as little as N50,000 a month and slowly increase your investment as you become more comfortable with the process.
Avoid High-Risk Investments: While high-risk investments can offer higher returns, they also come with a higher level of risk. As someone investing on a tight budget, it’s important to prioritize stability and security of your funds. Avoid investing in high-risk options.
Seek Professional Help: If you’re new to investing or unsure of where to start, seek professional help from a financial advisor. A financial advisor can help you create a personalized investment plan that aligns with your financial goals and risk tolerance.
By following these tips, Susan started investing on a tight budget while building a solid financial future. She realized adulthood is not a scam as she is now investing right and meeting her financial needs.

At FundQuest, we understand the challenges of investing on a tight budget. That’s why we offer a range of investment products designed to help you achieve your financial goals. Our investment products are designed to meet the needs of every investor, regardless of their budget or experience level.

Our team of financial advisors is also available to help you create a personalized investment plan that aligns with your financial objectives.
