But why is it that most people in lagos or ibadan don't like to come over to abeokuta or ogunstate to buy cars but we travel to lagos and other states to buy cars

Maybe because Lagos is the center of excellence grin
Re: But Why by Fhemmmy: 9:28pm On Sep 24, 2011
I think it is cos cars are probably cheaper in Lagos than those places you have mentioned . . . .
Re: But Why by Tuzen(m): 10:43pm On Sep 24, 2011
I dont think thats true, cos when i compare my price with what i see in lagos my price are better. I do have a lot of customers from lagos but their problem is coming to abeokuta from lagos

But why is your toyota corolla toks 03 model being sold for 1.6m. Do you not think that is on the high side, may maybe it's because you are based in abeokuta undecided
Re: But Why by Tuzen(m): 11:09pm On Sep 24, 2011
One thing i got to realise is that even if i call it 1m people will still price it for 800k. For the corola am selling it for 1.450m last but i saw one in lag for 1.5 last

With the current pricing of rides in America and Canada as well as in Europe . . .1.6M Naira for a 2003 Corolla is a very good price . . . . .

That's why the cotonou market is still thriving till date, seems price of cars there vary with mileage and not readily affected by market trends in EU and the Americas. 1.45m is a very good price if it's lagos cleared as the same car with good mileage goes for 1.35 in cotonou
Re: But Why by Tuzen(m): 11:04am On Sep 25, 2011
Its lagos cleared
Re: But Why by Nobody: 5:39pm On Sep 25, 2011

Maybe because most buyers have Family and friends in Lagos which makes inspection easier for them.
But frankly no matter where your vehicle is located your own buyer would come eventually.

but it is nt very easy when u are having people who are really interested in buying ur car but cant come over.but am very sure the buyer will come soon
Re: But Why by jbak: 9:38pm On Sep 25, 2011
Since the market is in Lagos, U may consider getting someone in Lagos to help market your cars or may be consider a place to keep your car in Lagos and market there for a while before moving it to Abeokuta, Just my piece of advice
