like seriously, most teachers cannot speak 'good English' and the sad part is that it is the same English that they speak that their pupils/student also speak.Many who can speak Good English don't even bother to correct their students when they speak it wrongly.Accost those teachers and they will tell you that English was not their discipline at the college or that how much are they being paid?Even posting corpers whose disciplines are not education-related all in the name of serving their fatherland is another big issue.

Explains why they keep churning out youths like Lhordspy and Iyaebe, whose reasonings leave much to be desired..

Na rubbish this man dey talk. Truly, majority of the teachers don't register as teachers. But many of them have the requisite qualifications. The fact that they didn't study education courses in school doesn't mean they cannot teach. Someone with a BSc in Chemistry should be able to teach Chemistry at secondary school level. What he or she should do is to get diploma in education.

This same conclusion affects other sectors in Nigeria and not just Education. We have unqualified personnel running even government agencies and institutions. Begin a general overhaul starting with the government and not just fixing only one affected area otherwise it's back to square one.
