On Monday, Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, a chef from Nigeria, set the record for the longest cooking period. The Akwa Ibom resident, 27, beat Chef Lata Tondon's record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds set in Rewa, India, in 2019. Not trying to burst your bubbles but, it appears Nigerians have nothing else to occupy their time. What's with this Hilda of a girl and Guinness record for God sake? The woman who won it in 2019 didn't close down India's cyber space, why are Nigerians so petty?  Well, I understand some Labourers do need the distractions after coming third and would have to watch helplessly as their arch enemy is sworn in on the 29th and govern them for 8 straight years!!
