Baze University Holds Main Conference on Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development

An international Conference and Exhibition on Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development will be held next month, June 12th to 16th at the reputable Baze University, Abuja.

The conference, the first of its kind by the university, is In Collaboration with the Society for Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Development and in Consultation with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CFIS) of the University, Professor Emeka Ene said the conference is billed to hold during the Baze University Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation Week and has been designed as a brainstorming laboratory.

According to him, it seeks to redefine the approach to sustainable entrepreneurship and quality leadership development, for broad-based productivity across all spheres of human, societal and national endeavours, while ensuring that economic issues and ground realities will be crafted and reflected in the new way of thinking and doing business.

“It serves as a forum and platform for advancing discussions and exchange of information on research, development and application to issues related to driving a productive economy, through entrepreneurship and quality leadership”

Professor Ene stressed that the conference presents a unique forum for academics, professionals, industry experts and policymakers, across diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds, to hone their skills and discuss contemporary issues redefining the sustainability of entrepreneurship and quality leadership development, in the face of digital innovations in promoting an inclusive society for sustainable development, in achieving the United Nations SDG Global Agenda.

Other themes of the conference include Entrepreneurial Accounting and Finance; Entrepreneurial Marketing; Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management; Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Revolution; Entrepreneurship and Environmental Management; Entrepreneurship and Educational Human Capital Development; and Entrepreneurship and Value-Chain Development.
