If Naira is truly floated why is customs not using the average of the I&E window to calculate duty? Customs duty is currently calculated at N589/Dollar If the Federal Government is still regulating exchange rate for duty, then its only a matter of time before we will return back to the days of multiple exchange rates. If the government is being honest, then the I&E window average should be in use across all government payments. What is really going on |
