The Federal Government of Nigeria will no longer fund professional Bodies and Councils from 2024 Budget. From December 2026, these Bodies will be fully responsible for their personnel, overhead and capital expenditure.

Funny enough these professional bodies still charge fees from their members

Nigerian government is really carrying alot of burden

Please the next thing that should be introduced should be
Powers reserved to state

And IGR generated from that state should be used for that state alone with a certain percentage given to the government.

Government should have a specific percent allocated to every state

Cuz all Nigerian states have some useful resources
Atleast this will make other states serious with their economics
