Agatu Youths have successfully killed a large hippopotamus that had been causing terror in their waterway between Adeka and Ebete, IDOMA VOICE reports.

The news was confirmed by Olikita Ekani, a native of Agatu, who stated that the animal had been a source of fear and disturbance in the community for several years.

The Agatu community, relieved by the removal of this threat, is now celebrating the death of the hippopotamus.

The youths, who took the initiative to confront and eliminate the troublesome creature, are being hailed for their bravery and action in protecting their community's waterway.
