Abductors Demands N30M To Release Offa-Poly Graduate, Babatunde Nurudeen

Babatunde Nurudeen, a recent Offa Federal Polytechnic graduate from the department of computer engineering, was kidnapped, and his captors have demanded a whopping ransom of N30 million from his family in exchange for his safe return.

This information was disclosed during a phone call the kidnappers placed to the student's family on Wednesday.

Remember that Babatunde Nurudeen was among numerous people held hostage on Tuesday while riding in a commercial bus to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Ogun State, according to an earlier story from AJSAM MEDIA 🎙️ 📻 and ADULAWO NEWS.


The bus was reportedly boarded at Iwo Road, close to the bridge, according to Nurudeen's father. And that once the voyage began, his son dutifully kept him informed of his progress and let him know when he had arrived at Iwo Road safely.


Later in the afternoon, though, things took a scary turn when Nurudeen's father got a troubling call from his son notifying him that he had been abducted. Until the kidnappers themselves got in touch and demanded a huge ransom of N30 million for his release, the frightened father had been unable to get in touch with his son since that ominous phone call.

Officers of the Nigerian Police Force and Amotekun initiated a vigorous quest to free Babatunde Nurudeen and the other kidnapped people as soon as they became aware of the critical situation. The authorities are making every attempt to find the victims and are using all of their knowledge and resources to do so.
