A Divisional Police station in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State came under attack by unknown gunmen, early Tuesday morning.

Although no officer was reported killed during the attack, one of them was said to have been shot and is currently receiving treatment.

The gunmen also succeeded in carting away arms and ammunition.

A local hinted that the assailants stormed the unfenced police station at about 2 am with a Toyota Sienna bus, shouting “Release Nnamdi Kanu,” “No Nnamdi Kanu, no peace.”

“They came through Eha-Amufu and left through the same axis but it’s not possible they got to Eha-Amufu township or crossed to Nkalagu, otherwise they would have been encountered by the soldiers in that area. It’s possible they went through Aguamede to Benue state,” the source said.

The Enugu State Police Public command is yet to issue a statement on the reported attack.

They stopped their attackw during election hoping Obi will win but when he was flogged at the elections they went back to their terrorist activities.last time I checked Ipo are terrorist in Nigeria.

Hehehe.

You see the reason why I said governor Mba is not serious at all. If police station is not save,is it helpless and defenceless market women that will protect themselves.

If you want to stop sit at home,you must show the people you are prepared,by placing security men at strategic position's in the state.

The presence of security will reassure people how committed you are.

You don't just sit in government house and give orders without actions. The funny thing is that the governor moves around with full squared of security,yet expect others to come out.

Why still refer to them as unknown criminals? They are known, they are not IPOB, they are not ESN, they are Simon Ekpa's boys and other criminals from other region that took advantage of insecurity in South East to carry out their evil criminal acts. They are Known-Gunmen.

Police that can't protect their stations. They only know how to extort money from motorists.

I am sure there is no cctv in that police station.
