Senegalese Singer, Akon has admitted that Nigerians are the smartest people in the world.

Akon revealed this on a program anchored by NORE and DJ EFN, Akon also believes that Nigerians produce more billionaires than anywhere else in the world.

In his words, the “Go Africa” singer said; “This could be debatable, but the Nigerians are the smartest people on the planet. I promise you, there is nobody smarter than a Nigerian.”

He, however, acknowledges that Nigerians are good and smart people but the “bad Apples” are the ones painting the country in back colours

He said, “Of course, there are a few bad apples that came out. The bad ones are extremely smart. But they put their intelligence all in the wrong place.

“If they were to gear that towards something more positive or productive… Because the ones that did, there are more billionaires being made in Nigeria than anywhere in the world.”

Akon is known for his love and admiration for anything that comes from Africa, and he hasn’t failed to demonstrate that at any given opportunity.

The reason they cant outsmart their own politicians is because they don't have what it takes to do that. If everyone have what we call equal power you think buhari would use 8 years as a president?
