Hello Nairaland

Infinix's initial attempt to produce Smart TVs was the X1 series, which has three models: a 32-inch model, a 43-inch model, and a 55-inch model. The improved versions of these TVs, the Infinix X3 series, have already been announced for this year. Just like before, it comes in three configurations, measuring 32 inches, 43 inches, and 55 inches.

It's safe to state that the new X3 series doesn't differ significantly from the X1 series in terms of the general design of these two smart television series.

They are available in three sizes: 32 inches, 43 inches, and 55 inches.
The 43-inch model boosts the resolution to 1080p (HD) with support for HDR10, while the 32-inch model keeps things at 720p (HD).

A 720p (HD) resolution and HDR10 support are included on the 32-inch model, a 1080p (Full HD) resolution and HDR10 support are present on the 43-inch model, and a 4k resolution and HDR10+ support are present on the 55-inch model.

The X3 series now has a slightly greater 350 nits maximum brightness, while the X1 series maximum brightness is 250 nits.
For a low cost smart tv, Infinix has done a good job of keeping the bezels to a minimum.

Hardware
The smart TVs are both powered by a MediaTek Quad-core 64-bit chipset processor.
Now the X1 and X3's and 43-inch models feature 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, respectively, while it's 55-inch models have a slightly higher 1.5GB of RAM and the same internal storage.

Software
When it comes to the software, the X1 series and the X3 series differ significantly from one another.
In contrast to the X1 series, which all run the Android 9 pie operating system and "android tv" interface, the X3 series runs the most recent version of Android 11, along with the brand-new "Google TV" interface.
Although they have distinct interfaces, they both have the same functionality and provide you features like support for Chromecast and Airpay, Google Assistant, etc.

Remote
This is another area where the new X3 series has improved over the X1 series, at least in terms of appearance, is the remote.
The X3 series remote appears more streamlined, intelligent, and tiny. It doesn't have as many buttons as the X1 series because you just receive the ones that are really necessary and that you will almost certainly use on a daily basis.

One further improvement to the remote is that it now has a microphone integrated into it. This allows you to summon Google Assistant by voice rather than entering your command in like you would on the X1 series.

Connection & Additional Features.
Both TVs comparable locations and a comparable selection of ports in terms of connectivity.
Therefore, the Infinix X3 series has the same two USB 2.0 ports as the X1 series but upgrades the three HDMI ports to HDMI 2.0. The Infinix X1 series has two USB 2.0 ports and three HDMI 1.4 connectors.

An AV in Port, LAN port, 3.5mm headphone jack, optical out port, and others are also available on both series.

They both have WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
On the X3 series, the setup is slightly different as the TVs have two separate speakers on both ends (left & right), one tweeter dedicated for reproducing high-frequency sounds, and one low-end speaker dedicated for reproducing mid and low-frequency sounds.
This means you will get slightly better sound output with more oomph or depth on the X3 series.
Both series come with a dual 10W speaker setup for a total 20W.
