Inter Milan legend Beppe Bergomi has offered high praise to Victor Osimhen and declared him the best in Serie A.

Legendary defender Beppe Bergomi who played for Inter Milan for 12 years, has added his voice to the recent praise for Super Eagles and Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has had an excellent 2023, and after scoring 26 league goals to power Napoli to a Scudetto win, the Super Eagles star has started the current season on fire again.

Bergomi believes Osimhen better than Lautaro Martinez.

The 24-year-old was in a close race for the Capocannoniere with Inter's Lautaro Martinez, who finished with 21 goals and Bergomi has declared the Nigerian better than Lautaro.

“Lautaro has achieved enviable continuity at Inter Milan. After Osimhen, he is the best in the Serie A,” Bergomi said per Napoli Magazine.

Their incredible rivalry is set to continue with both strikers starting the season with 3 goals in 2 games. Barring any injuries, Osimhen will aim to win a second consecutive Golden Boot.
