Most times I've come to wonder how much we Africans are so attached to religion, to an extent that even the Portuguese that brought this religion to this part of the world are not as religious as us. Nigeria alone has more churches than the entire world churches put together. If this was truly the part to a better life, why are they not practicing it like we do?

I've also noticed that we get instant response when we follow our traditional way of life, and even our traditional leaders are scared to lie against a deity because of instant punnishment and the results are always quick and responsive, while that of the whites has to do with faith and more believing.

These people do not even grant us an easy access to their own country, how do we now believe they will show us the way to heaven.

I've been to Europe thrice, you can find just 3 churches in some cities, but thousands in Nigerian cities.

The question is, do we really need religion to practice love, can't love be practiced in the same way our ancestors worshipped?

If am wrong I'd love to be corrected on these thoughts

Africans are highly spiritual, while Caucasian are more analytical , Asia are in between, partly spiritual partly analytical

A good number of churches out there are nothing but business centres.

The two most powerful institutions in the world is the government and religion.


The government and religion is used to manipulate the people into doing their biddings.


They say that the religion would always asked you to obey the authority of the land....


How did God create people to worship him and at the same time ask his people to obey the authority.

It's literally means the the authority wasn't enough to control the people, so they created religion to work on the people's mind and conscience.

Africans (NIGERIANS) are over righteous people. They will be holy on Saturdays/Sundays, then go back to thier normal lifestyle the other weekdays.
May God help us to do the right thing.

That is why the povery rate is so high, instead of going to work they are busy waiting for a nonsense miracles all their life..
