This role primarily focuses on providing technical assistance and support to customers, clients, or end-users who are facing issues with hardware, software, or other technology-related products and services.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Support: Assist customers via phone, email, or chat to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or inquiries. Provide excellent customer service while addressing their concerns.

2. Issue Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose technical problems or software glitches. Ask probing questions to understand the nature and context of the issue.

3. Problem Solving: Use problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to find solutions and workarounds for customer issues. This may involve guiding customers through step-by-step troubleshooting processes.

4. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system or CRM software.

5. Escalation: Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams within the organization.

6. Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with the company's products, services, and technologies. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.

7. Training: Occasionally provide training or guidance to customers on how to use software or hardware effectively.

8. Feedback: Collect and document customer feedback to help improve products and services.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, and networking basics is important.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effective problem-solving skills, the ability to think logically, and the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues systematically.

A customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service and building positive relationships with customers.

Ability to work collaboratively with other technical support engineers and cross-functional teams.
Openness to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving support processes.
