As a teen, I would always take and post photos and checking the amount of likes and comments on Facebook. As time went by I saw it as being childish. Dumped the app ever since. I'm only active on Whatsapp and Nairaland. It's been months since I uploaded my photos on my status. Thirsty for attention/validation died prematurely. Infact, I muted many of my family and friends that regularly post their photos and videos on Whatsapp status looking for likes and comments.

Yeah same here brother. Used to be a stoner, stopped first of July and that's the best decision i made this year.
Everyone smokes these days now even kids forming bad guys and shits and it was affecting my facial appearance's like lips and eyes.
The urge is not even there anymore again.

Maybe it's because the sound and the whole American hip hop and R&B culture has changed, I don't know.

I don't even know a single song from these new age American rappers and R&B singers.

The last American hip hop song that I've ever loved so much was "lifestyle" by Rich Gang.... I made a lot of memories with that song back in 2015 and it was as if I was basically saying my farewell to American hip hop.

The culture has changed. I watched 90s video on YouTube and listen to their lyrics, the quality can't be compare to what they have now

When I look at my circle now and compare it to how it was as at 5 years ago,I realized making so many friends,with all the memories we once had wasn't worth it all.

In fact, by the age of nine, I’ve read the Bible back to back twice in two different languages. I really wanted to be a Pastor.But now I see it as all lies. The second thing I now hate is gender wars. Even as a child, I always saw it as healthy competition. But now, it has become something else. We now seem to be promoting hate against the other gender. He he...let me see any of those guys or girls who never considered me to be in their class when they were younger. Could never mix with me, were too pretty or too popular, too big, really. I will never believe their 'changed' characters. You're older now, you're now humble, abi? You're older now, you can now talk to me? Now you're older, you're not that highly sought college beauty, now it's cool to hang out with me abi? Now that we are all old? I won't accept to be anyone's fall back friend. Attending parties, clubs and keeping a large circle of friends. I think I drifted away from these because I'm extremely busy with work.

You can't just generalize, some families don't care about each other, but I have seen families where they love each other. It's not about age, it's relative...you can say your mom and sisters don't love you, I won't contest it, but don't generalize...plus love is relative.
